"This all began with a series of intense debates I got into with some friends, peers and acquaintances. It was the overwhelming amount of doubt towards the strength and influence which online media poses, that had me itching to launch a campaign with the intentions of proving them wrong. However, it wasn't until a widely read, well respected, international publication published an article mocking the idea that a brand could develop any type of substantial influence or reputation in a purely digital setting, that I realized that someone had to prove them wrong. As a person heavily involved in the digital world, I am connected to a large community of respected, talented and unique personalities, whom I feel have been greatly disrespected by the statements made by the world of static media, desperately struggling to stay relevant.

I've always known that the online world would take over quickly, but the speed of its growth today far surpasses what anyone could have expected. If you still don’t agree with me look at the digital atmosphere around you. The blogging world has shifted your news to online platforms, sending e-mail has replaced traditional snail mail, and texting your friends has eliminated passing notes in class (for all you high schoolers out there). These are just a few examples, the list goes on and on and on.

Ultimately, my goal for this campaign is to show all of you how powerful the digital trend truly is; but I'll need your help. Through my use of Twitter, I'll be able to measure how fast this experiment grows, and how influential each 140 character statement has become. All the help I can get is greatly appreciated, so please tell your friends about my project.
We are the youth, we are the future, we are the voice of this generation, and together we can show the world what this digital revolution is all about." - Jeremy Fall (@jeremyfall)
